Strange Bolero Behaviour

Featured Replies

Got in the car yesterday, and the Bolero screen went white, was still playing just couldnt see anything. All buttons still worked....

Turned it off, back on, still white

Finished my journey locked up the car, turned it on this morning and its fine.......

Anyone had anything like this?

Mine has now done it twice, within 2 days of each other, but not since, which was over a month ago. Will bring it up at service i suppose

Holy thread revival batman!!

I suffered this for the first time today in my MkII Superb. Turning the headunit off and back on made no difference.

When I got home I turned off the ignition and then turned it back on, didn't fix the issue.

I hope that mine resets overnight as above.

Interestingly all of the above issues happened in 2011 on 2010 / 2011 cars. My Superb is a 2011 model, I wonder if there was an issue around this time with the Bolero's?

I took a picture as knowing my luck it will fix itself tomorrow then break again for good one day after the warranty expires!

As expected, normal service resumed this morning, very odd behaviour!

I mentioned the duff radio screen whilst the car was in for its first MOT today.

The dealer said that there was an outstanding 'service campaign' and have replaced the head unit under warranty.

Interestingly they have had the car before and supposedly checked for service campaigns, it was only when I mentioned the faulty radio did they acknowledge there was one outstanding on my car!

Anyway all fixed now and I have the latest Bolero with the new Skoda logo on the welcome onboard screen!

I`ve also had this fault, which seemed to fix itself ??

Can anyone tell me more about the " service campaign " ??

My vehicle booked in on Moday for service and want a few bits sorting out, the more info I have the better !

Bolero Fault

I have this fault again - took a picture this time ..... any advice other than take to dealer ???

Oooh, mine's a 2011 and I've still got a few months under the extended warranty (2nd hand purchased from dealer). Silver, can you provide a bit more detail about the service campaign please? Also, the replacement Bolero, I don't suppose it's a DAB version is it??
