Why do you want to do this?

car has a misfire at tickover, the misfire is a result of the throttle body flap shutting as though its going to stop and then it carrys on ok,not sure whats causing this to happen but i think the tickover is too low, around 730rpm

Check the vacuum solenoid for the throttle body actuator. There should be no vacuum going from the vac actuator to the throttle body with the engine running.

The throttle body on these is only used during shutdown to stop engine shake. You can hear a brief whoosh as you turn the ignition to OFF as it chokes the

engine to a halt.

interesting thought that because i am sure the misfire is when the throttle body tries to flick shut for a split second, look at that over weekend, cheers for the info mate.
