hello just been asked to look at a old boys vrs had a engine light on cant remember the code but it was running lean . i found the top breather hoes badly split would this be a poss air leak thanks for any help o the hose was the big one from roker cover to inlet pipe

i got a new hose just wondering if it would pull up a engine light with it gone

When I realised mine went, I got an engine light but that was for coil pack that had gone.

Do you have a fault code reader?

Have you tried the MAF?

Best thing to do is get the code read then you'll know for sure if it caused the light to come on, you'll need a reader to turn the light off anyways

all sorted put new hose on and the owner of the car is a happy chappie again lol
