VRS front lambda

Featured Replies

Hey,

Finally sorted my lambda monday evening with a genuine part at 118 quid!

MPG went from 21 to 30 average and it ran loads better...

Till today, stalling again and running lumpy.. No CEL.

I read the code anyway and it has a pending P0130 - same sensor!

What are the chances of this being faulty already?

Any other possible causes for this code?

you got them the right way around

Yes, 100% - 5 Wire sensor First and 4 Wire Second.

PLUS

I have no Cat so to be fair it shouldn't matter anyway..

Still does it, when i clear the code it runs nicely and then comes straight back on!

It could be the rear probe causing the problem because you don't have a cat so the rear probe could be reading out of its range and ecu thinks its the front probe thats faulty and puts light on, don't take fault codes as gosple they can lead you up the garden path sometimes,

Check the readings on MAF sensor, boost pressure sensor, front and rear lamba probes against another car

Ah that makes sense...

Well in fairness, Its gone and only coming up with the code for dodgy Cat now, which is good.

I also removed my Standard Dump valve to replace with the 007p, and found basically NO piston at all in the Standard one - Boost leak city i think!

How can i get these readings? Vag com only?

My Reader used to do it but i forgot how haha!
