Coloumbus & firmware upgrade

Featured Replies

Hi all

Been lurking on the forum for a while now.

Took the plunge and upgraded the firmware on my columbus from this

linky

to this

another linky

All went well with the upgrade, but now seem to have the regensburg syndrome, however I haven't had the chance to drive the car yet and haven't left the columbuson long enough to get a a proper fix on the position.

I also read on vwnavi that there is a v1300 that is better still, my main aim is to run v7 maps eventually. So any pointers as to what is the best software for the device. Or will this cure the regensburg problem

My car is May 08 reg vrs pd170 diesel originally fitted with a stream unit

Thanks for any help

,,,,,,,,where did you find the latest software???????

here it's not necessarily the latest software.

Another thing is the speed limits shown on the map are in kilometres, anyone know how to change this? Also my sd card , cd and video are greyed out on the media screen. Is this because there is no media to detect?
