Skoda Octavia 2.0 Tdi Faulty Ecu Or Control Module?

Featured Replies

Hi

I am having some problems with my Octavia 2.0 tdi 140. I came to the car the other morning and something has gone wrong. My cooling fans started

running constantly, and ive never heard them before, but now are coming on and off with about a 10 second break inbetween, my air con, rear

demister and recyle buttons have stopped working. my temperature control has stopped working. My radio has gone off, my front interior light no

longer works, and the lights behind the center console no longer illuminate. The ASR button doesnt work either and the ASR light is illuminted on

the dash. Has anybody had anything like this happen to them. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks Mark

Could be a faulty alternator, mine went on Sat night everything went haywire and I lost power steering

don't know how much a new one is though

You could check this by giving it a tap with a hammer as that according to the AA can sort it for a while like it did with mine
