Suspension/Ride height

Featured Replies

Just bought a Fabia vRS, absoloutly love it :), but they look to be sat really high! I guess im looking for advice on whats good and bad suspension-wise? Looking at some of the Fabias on here i'd love for mine to look as good as them at some point in its lifetime :D.

Cheers for your time guys :) peace X

The Eibach Pro springs are always a popular choice but it all depends how low you want to go really?

I believe if you buy springs you will buy coilovers at a later date. Bite the bullet and fork out on a decent set or coilovers.

Anywhere within the reigon of 30-60mm, which is why i was thinking coilovers??? Just realised youre from DPM Damian, heard some good stuff about JOM lately, sell yourself, whatcha got thats cheap but not too cheap? £200-£300.

Cheers :) x

From the looking around i've done recently, it seems like you'll be able to get hold of a decent set of springs for about 100-150 but if you're looking for springs & dampers or coilovers you really should budget around the £400 (without fitting) mark for some new averagely good kit. You can get some budget coilovers for the £200 mark but i'm not hugely convinced the ride quality will be any good or that they will last very long without failing....

I think i'm probably going to go down the damper/spring route as i'm not really after dropping it right to the floor. The Eibach or Koni sets look pretty sound and they are both around £350-400.
