Wing mirror indicator replacement

Featured Replies

Hi, after just a month of great driving I have noticed my first damage, a stone must have hit my nearside wing mirror indicator lense, putting a nice hole in it, and allowing lots of moisture to get in.

My question is, has anyone replaced the indicator unit in the wing mirror, for what I can see there is just 1 star drive screw to remove from behind the mirror.

I have been quoted £17 for a replacement unit, and half hour labour, bringing total to about £100. If its easy to do myself I quite fancy saving the labour charge.

darren...as you have presumed its a relatively simple job to do. The total that you have been quoted of around £100 is daylite robbery....thats why we call em stealer dealers. Buy the unit and do the job yourself....you'll get great satisfaction and you will have learnt something...have fun...do it yourself. :D

£100, I choked on my beer. DIY, DIY, DIY. Robbing *******
