Having serious cut out problems with my car which makes coil warning light come on.By the time Im able to get the car restarted and to mechanic the warning light goes off and after diagnostic no faults are recorded.Peculiarly the problem almost always happens when I stop for a short period of time and jumps and splutters on trying to drive off. Fuel filter change has no effect Maf disconnection no effect. Please help

Coolant Temp Sensor could be faulty(COMMON PROBLEM), which is telling the ECU wrong temp information. CTS doesn't always throw a fault code when it's broke, & can cause warm start problems.

Had just the same sort of problems with my 1.9SDi plus, various strange electrical probs like, rev counter cutting out, windscreen wipers pleasing themselves! Turned out to be a faulty alternator. A replacement cured all the problems.
