Central Locking Module - 2005 Superb 1.9 TDi

Featured Replies

I'm having problems with my central locking module and need to replace it. Does anyone know where the central module is on a 2005 Superb? I'm told it's somewhere on the left side of the car either in the engine bay or the front passenger footwell?

Cheers,

Mentos

I think it's the CCM (Convenience Control Module) box you're after, which is under the carpet in the rear passenger footwell.

Try new fob batteries before you do anything else, if you are getting one door popping open after locking, that's generally a door motor, hth.

I had a problem with reception to my car with the key and even though i tried changing the battery it had no effect. So last time i was at the workshop i asked the pros to look at it. Turned out the key itself was "broken". I had it replace and now i can stand in Finland and unlock my car in the UK
