Hi I have a Skoda Octavia 1.9tdi 2002 model, due to the poor roads over winter the front offside shock absorber appears to have collapsed. How easy is it for me to change myself?

looks pretty easy go on to youtube type in shock absorber replacement and theres loadsa videos..top mechanics showing you step by step how to do it..ive just done my back wheel bearings following the same principles..even tho the cars showing wasnt a skoda the principles are very similar and pretty straightforward,good luck-skodaman3.

Get a Haynes manual...explains it very clearly, its a very easy job to do
