New Fabia vRS?

Featured Replies

Hi there!

As Skoda currently has 20% off its cars I'm seriously considering purchasing a new Fabia vRS.

Would I be making a good choice? Are there any downsides I should be aware of.

Thanks for your views.

Hello and welcome to Briskoda. In my opinion you would be making a great choice, i'm only 600 miles in and love everything about the car so far apart from a bit of backache after a few hours of driving. Fantastic road manners, lots of power when needed and a permanant smile on my face B) .

Hi and welcome aboard.

Welcome to Briskoda, you would be making a good choice in purchasing a vRS.

Thanks everyone! I'l be having another look at the vRS very soon and hopefully i'll make my purchase. Just not sure what colour combo!

Hi,

Not so relevant on the Fabia I suppose as it's so new but the VAT free deal is pushing the price of second hand cars down too. I was about to shell out 17k on a brand new Octavia VRS which admittedly is an absolute bargain. I thought i'd explore the second hand options first and have got a '59 plate VRS with 11k for £12990. That's surely unheard of? (unless anyone can trump me with a better deal. Now I can spend the 4k I've saved on women and beer......... or perhaps the wife and kid, but never mind.

As I say, I'm sure second hand fabia's are quite rare but thought I'd share my experience.

Although there's nothing quite like having a brand new one. Good luck and make sure you get in quick, there's a bit of a waiting list as I understand.
