Featured Replies

am i right jabba use a cat back milltek when upping the power to 220bhp? awsome use the de-cat system.heard that removing the cat though can damage the turbo?

If it's a hybrid we'll use a de-cat system.

Cheers

Kev

I used a 200 cell cat on mine

Sure mot is changing next year so a visible decat may fail

No !

It doesn't cause any issues using a decat on the standard KKK turbo either

I've read that if the car isn't mapped with the decat in mind the low back pressure can damage the turbo or whatever. I dunno how true that is though.

Yup, decat and standard map is ok, decat BEFORE a map is ok, but map then decat = overspool. As per one of the jabba bods a while ago. If you have a hybrid, then you'd get it mapped for the stuff you fitted so wouldn't be a issue. Worth pointing out tho, people have run 220bhp with a totally stock exhaust, it's not very restrictive till you get to big power.
