My left position light , is not working , and i don't have a warning message on my dashboard

Maybe warning for lights is disabled with VCDS from previous owner , is this possible?

Do you mean that the option for telling you that a light is not working is not on mk1-s ?

or that it cannot be disabled?

As I know the mk1 octavia does not have CAN BUS and the warning for light faults does not exists.

CAN BUS? if you mean the place when you conect it with laptop(diagnostic tool) , yes it have it , and i think it have the warning for light failure becuase i read it in manual , but maybe something wrong , got to check with VAG-COM tomorow

No no...nothing to do with VAG COM connection

CAN BUS detects a failed light, stops transfering power to it,and warns you in the dash

Evening, just looking to see if anyone is experiencing the same issue as me with my Karoq 1.5 Tsi (73 plate)…. So the car has perhaps half a dozen times or more cut out completely when slowing down, no stall / kangaroo or otherwise, power simply gone, resulting in me having to restart the car when in a rolling motion. Very unnerving especially with traffic approaching. I’ve tried to recreate the event on quiet roads with no success so I’ve no idea what action causes this. I had thought

Hello All, So my youngest son decided to push a small flat piece of Lego between the window and door. I can just about see it, but have no idea how to get it out. I’ve not operated the window as I think will drag the Lego inside the door. Any ideas or hacks on how I can remove it without taking the trim off the door? Many thanks!

I confess that all 5 of my previous Kodiaqs were AWD but I only realised recently that AWD is actually a bit of a misnomer. Drive to the rear axle is only engaged when the road surface requires it - mud, very wet road surface etc. The Haldex unit controls this engagement. In normal road conditions the car is driven by the front wheels only thus saving fuel. I accept that I may be in the minority here so I'd love to hear from others who were similarly misguided.

Hello, As mentioned in the new user section I recently bought a 2012 Skoda Octavia Combi 2. I had to replace LEDs on the dashboard cluster, because speed, oil temp and fuel needles were not lighting up (one burnt LED on each line). I’ve also decided to replace them with red LED (for fun) and yes, I’ve replaced the resistor to match the current draw. After putting everything back together and reconnecting it to the car, I have one issue, the power steering red light is on… I drove a few mil

Skoda supurb 2014 RNS510 unit fitted 3T0035686H .HW version H21 . SW version 6270 Maps 8048 version 10 . Have a problem with start up screen skoda logo misaligned. Believe its a SSD version . Looking to do a SW flash with 6270 or 6276 but can't seem to find them anywhere , have maps version 17 on a disc but want to flash it first. Any help finding the required software would be appreciated willing to pay for it . Thanks in advance , Darren
