Plastic covers on vehicle underside.

Featured Replies

Jacked my octy up for the 1st time since getting it & i noticed the floorpan underside on both sides has a bolt on plastic tray that runs the full length of the underside & covers the floorpan & chassis legs,im just wondering what its purpose is? is it for aerodynanics? or to cover up a cooler pipework or fuel/brake lines? im a bit concerened that it could be a trap for road salt & muck.
