pressed the button in the car to lock doors and it fell all the way through,just need to know how to get the center console out,cheers.

If you have long nimble fingers you can get at it by pulling up the gear gaitor. I did it that way to replace mine in my previous Octavia. Made more awkward as there is/was very little slack in the cable.
