Recently purchased a 1.8 VRS, we seem to have no reversing lights or parking sensors, the fuse is ok, we have located the reverse switch but cannot get the wires off the switch to tes the circuit...

Is there a knack or a way to get the wires off the switch???

Thanks for the link rwbaldwin, couldn`t though press anything down to remove it... thats if I was pressing the right area...

as you look at the switch when standing at the passenger winge site, the switch is located to the left under the battery area under a loom... there was what looked like something you pressed on the top of this black plug... but still wouldn`t budge..
