If it bother's you, fit new air and fuel filter's, bung a fuel treatment in half a tank, and change the oil and filter, if it's still belching black after that you have a costly issue to sort.

Particles build up in the exhaust if you do lots of town driving, a hoof and a cloud is normal under this sort of use, I generally clear mine out on the motorway, 3 hoofs and it normally clears ok.
