The part number for the Audi strut brace for octy mk1 vrs is 8N0805629A. My question is does the part number 8N0805629B also fit? Looks the same to me...

They are basically the same part. You'll notice the only difference is the end letter, which relates to the revision level of the part.

The later the letter, the later the revision level.

As a rule of thumb, go for the latest revision level.
