CECM Problem Please Help

Featured Replies

Hi I have had a guy check my car and has told me the CECM central electronic control module is damaged. I had the known issue with the water in the car and has likely caused this.

Any idea where the location of this module is so i can get part number to replace or does anyone here know the part number and what the cheapest option is.

Any advice or help to get this resolved will be appreciated.

thanks

isnt it under the carpet under the seat?

This may help, as it is a VCDS scan taken from my 2004 Superb Comfort:

No fault code found.

You need to remove the passenger seat (disconnect the battery before you unplug the seat airbag and do not turn the ignition on with the seat removed or you will have the airbag light on the dash and will need VCDS or a dealer to turn it off again!) once the seat is out lift the carpet and the CCM is under there.
