Skoda radio code?

Featured Replies

I have decided to sell my vRS, when I bought the car I think the radio said 'safe' and didn't do anything, I wasn't bothered as I was putting a Sony radio in anyway. Now I want to sell the car I have put the Skoda radio back in this morning and it said 'safe' for a few seconds and it then it changed to '4 - - - -' as if it wants a code and I think it means someone has had 4 goes at it!

I was hoping the radio would learn the code from the ECU as I'm sure I have read that somewhere?

I can't see any radio code in any of the paperwork I have for the car so does that mean a trip to a Skoda dealer to get the code?

Just spoken to a local dealer who said if I take the V5, proof of ID they will plug it in and unlock it for me and they dont charge for it either

Just need to wait for the new V5 to come back from the DVLA as I have just changed the number plate back from my private one.
