Setting off now to visit Liam "The Tinter".....

Hopefully be back some time this afternoon with some nice pics of his work :D:thumbup:

He did a lovely job on on mine yesterday - I will post pics when I've washed it as it's covered in stuff from the drive back.

Rob, looks nice but can we trust it's genuine and not photoshopped? After all, you have added a seasonal snowflake on the front door :P

how much would this guy quote to travel to lancashire and do my fabia?

I believe

Rob, what %age are your tints? I'm toying with the idea of getting my yellow Furby done when I get it next week.

I'm a little wary of 'peeling' though. How long do the tints tend to last before they start to look dog-eared? A friend of mine had tinted XR2 a good few years back & it looked terrible. I'm sure they look great when they are first done, but what about longer-term? What are the edges like with the windows down?

Estate + pillar trims + tints =

Mine are 50% front, 35% middle, 20% rear.

Liam offers a lifetime warranty against defects in installation or materials but they should stay as they are for good - he says :-)

He advised me to leave the windows up for a week for the glue to bond fully so I haven't had a close look at the edges but when they were just done they looked great - you couldn't see the join.

Liam and his mate (sorry, never asked his name) were very professional and certainly seem to know their stuff

I never thought about what's involved in doing the tints so was a little surprised when he walked round from the other side of the car carrying the door cards :D
