hi im just wondering what i could do to my octavia tdi to make it more powerful and faster i think it is the 90 bhp but im a bit strapped for cash at the mo so it needs to be cheap any help would be great thanks

How cheap is "cheap" in this case? Other than a generic remap for about £300 (from 90 up to 120 bhp), there's not much you can do for less than a grand all in that's actually going to be worth the money.

If that's too much, about all you can do is "add lightness". Clean out the boot, remove as much trim and sound deadening as you can, take off the wheel trims (really; once the car's moving they effectively weigh 17 times their actual weight when you try and accelerate them)...

my mate has got a turbo unit off a bora tdi 130bhp would that fit and would it make a big difference?

A big turbo by itself will do d@mn all on a diesel (at best; at worst with a stock map you'll get over-boost errors and limp mode every time you rev the engine high). What determines how much power you make is basically how much fuel is injected.

Plus how much pressure the rods can take

so if i get better injectors as well as the turbo would that help and any clues as to which 1's

With the stock turbo, injectors from the 2.5Tdi van engine, and an Audi automatic pump core, plus a remap, you could be looking at maybe 150bhp.

If you want to go to about 180 bhp, your best course is to look for a TDi130, and map that.

If you want really big power, look for posts by user DevonUtopia about the "mongrel".
