ED30: Front ARB Size

Featured Replies

Hello - can anyone confirm what size the front ARB is on an Edition 30? Is it 24mm?

And as a possible bonus, what size the std fitment is to my lovely Elegance? ;)

Cheers,

Steve

Steve, Whiteline list upgraded front ARBS for the Mk5 Golf as 22mm & 24mm here-would that indicate the standard is less than 22mm, even on an E30? I'd hazard a guess at 18mm standard & that the Octy is the same? I have been known to be wrong though... :D

My Neuspeed rear ARB is 28mm & it's the biggest I've come across for the rear (Oooer... :giggle:), so I'm guessing that 24mm is about the thickest front ARB about??

Just my 2p's worth!

Bear in mind a thicker front anti roll bar will cause more understeer if its not done at the same time as the rear anti roll bar

Front biased stiffness = more understeer

Rear biased stiffness = less understeer
