Possible dead amp?

I think my amp may be dead.

It's suddenly (no changes in wiring or anything) making a lot a static, with no music getting through. I checked all my cabling and all seem ok.

There's power getting to the amp no problem, so I am confused.

To be fair though, it's a 6 year old JBL cheapy so I'm expecting it to have died... :(
