Each of the centre air vents on my car has the top horizontal louvres which do not operate.

I've worked out how to remove the vent / hazard switch assembly, but before I rip it apart, can the individual louvres be repaired, or does the whole assembly have to be replaced?

I suspect the latter, as I suspect that something has been snapped inside, probably as a result of an air freshener, phone or similar having been hung on it by the previous owner.

If I were you, I'd have a good nose around the assembly (remove it if you can) and see if a tube of super glue could save you spending money. May well be as simple as that with a bit of luck..!
