MFD1 and phatbox possible sale......soon

Featured Replies

hi, just testing the water here i purchased my mk1 octavia vrs with a vw mfd1 installed along with a phatbox hardrive system in the boot and to be honest im not sure i like them. i like the idea of thousands of songs being stored on a cartridge in the boot but couldnt i do this with a good aftermarket stereo and my ipod?

ive only owned the car a couple of days so maybe i need to give it time to grow on me

my question is if i decided to sell does anyone know how much i should ask for them? i have a good idea of the mfd however the phatbox???? not a clue

hi there,

if your going to sell the Phatbox i'm very interested.

It came in two versions, V1 has the standard sides (squared off) and the V2 had cooling fins on the side, which helped the system run.

Good V2 systems with the 20gig DMS (cartridge), boxed with all the instructions and cradle, connection leads etc go for about £100

non boxed systems go for £60 to £80 and maybe a bit more for the V2.

Feel free to PM or email me.

Cheers
