Just thought I'd introduce myself before posting here, there and everywhere! I'm Ash, and I was recommended here by a friend who's a member on here (his name's Lee, not sure if that's his username on here or not!). I'm new to the world of Skoda and I'm looking to buy an Octavia vRS TDI at the moment. But I'm not new to forums, I set up and own my own forum (FiestaOwnersClub.com) so I suppose I'm not a newbie in that respect!

Anyway, this is a great looking site and I'm certainly going to be mooching around getting help and advice as much as I can! Thanks!

That's always good to know, thanks Chloe! It's just a case of me finding the right one for me now! Want a prefacelift in either blue or black, but it has to be in decent condition and with under about 50k miles. So it's a bit of a waiting game!

And I keep trying to find out whether the screens from the facelift Octy's (e.g. the Columbus) fit the prefacelift but can't seem to find out anywhere! I've also seen the Kenwood DNX 520, but that's a bit too pricey! So any help on whether they'll fit would be GREATLY appreciated!

Try the ICE, Security and Insurance section, they will be able to give you all the info you need ref Headunits

Well, it's official, signed for my Octavia vRS today! Picking it up either Thursday or Friday of next week (looking like Thursday if I get my way!!)

What I've got is an Octavia vRS TDI 170bhp version, in Race Blue (must add at least another 5bhp because it's called "race") and here's a list of some of the specs:

• Xenon Headlights
  
• Front and Rear parking sensors
  
• Maxi-Dot trip computer (I think. It's definitely the black and white one rather than the green and black one. Will be able to confirm what it is when I pick it up! 99% sure its maxi-dot now though after looking at some threads on here!)

Can't wait to pick it up now! I'm over the moon with it already!

From one Newbie to another-Welcome

I'm looking to purchase a Yeti SE Plus 170bhp with goodies to bring it up to near Elegance spec but cheaper.

We are a two car family, which because of medical problems (mine) we only have one driver so we are amalgamating cars and getting one reasonably quick with shedloads of room.

One of the cars - My favourite Fiesta ST :'(

And yes I am a member of the Fiesta owners club and find this briskoda site to be equally informative and interesting
