When on holiday last week in Pembrokeshire I saw a Rolls Royce (think it was the Phantom). Having a closer look at it I noticed that it too had corrosion around the wheel centre caps!!! Wonder how much they cost! [Eek/] £200k car and they still corrode!

Made me feel better about mine now.

I bought a new Merc E class in 2003,and paid a bit extra for some upgrade alloys.

Inside 1 year all 4 wheels had signs of white worms under the lacquer.

Mercedes did provide new wheels though.(Last merc I ever bought.):wonder:
