Turn TP off

Featured Replies

Ok i have read the manual for my navi DX and im still baffled as to how to stop the thing from putting traffic info on.

I have to keep pressing the TIM button to stop the bulletin. Any one know if u can stop it from doin it?

Should either be a button with TP on it, or it will be in the menu.

Thats what i thought but after loads of searching I still cant find it.

Press Audio to bring up the menu where you can select between radio, cd, aux etc. There are two TP options and two FM options. If you want traffic reports then you select one of the TP options and then tune into the stations you want from there. TP reports will stay on even if you select cd etc. To turn tp off, you need to select one FM1 or FM2 from the audio menu and tune to your preferred stations from there - After this you will not get TP announcements when listening to CD or radio until you go back into TP1 or TP2. Not sure I've explained that very clearly...
