Hi All

My first post after getting used to the new superb delivered in July 2011. Living in France I have the Praha 170TDI DSG version, similar to the Elegance. I am very pleased with the car and the driving with DSG is excellent. I may be missing something in the user manual but I cannot find the surround sound and EQ settings after pressing the tone control, both my English and French manual show it in the list of functions, Does anyone know the answer or can give information to explain how to sccess these functions?

The answer is probably very obvious but I would really like to know.

Have you tried with the ignition on?

I also have the PRAHA (but sadly only the 140)

Not sure what you mean by Surround Sound? If you go into the tone settings you can mess with the mixer/bance by means of a diagram of the cabin. But No Equaliser except for your Treble, Mid or Bass!

Thanks for the answers so far; I tried with ignition on still could not find what the manual shows

Page 10 of manual Under section range selector key tone the last two sound settings are •

EQ settings * - Selecting the program type (linear, language, rock, classical, dance);

Surround• * - Setting of the surround tone.

I hope this explains better what I am looking for .

I have a scroller on the right in Tone. Almost at the bottom I got this. And sourrond settings for none->front->driver.

I got the upgraded sound system. Maybe that is the cause. Is it marked with a asterix * in the manual?

I think the surround menu is only with 10 speaker system.

Hi All

Thanks to all your help I have the answer, no upgraded sound system no surround sound option.

Definitely not giving car back because of this !!! as it is such a joy to drive and the space inside is amazing.
