Had the pleasure of seeing VRS Carl's gorgeous wagon last weekend and its git a rather nice ITG induction kit fitted. I've hunted high and low but can't seem to find one for the CR170. I beleive the pipework is essentially the same but there were some ancilliary pipes which Carl didn't seem to have on his TSI.

Anybody goit any odeas?

No point in having one on a diesel. Will have no power gains what so ever

not on standard mapping anyway, will make very small difference, perhaps increase responsiveness. I found it made a noticable benefit on my mapped Pd140 however, enough to warrant doing, but would try and find a used intake if you can!

True people have different opinions but that's mine. What's wrong with that.

Isn't a diesel engine pressurised? Therefore an induction kit is kind of pointless.

Petrol Engine, air + fuel = power therefore induction kit is worth it, more air more power.

I couldnt elaborate in my first post (on phone).

Because I've read the numerous posts on tdi induction I was giving you a heads up. I reckon you would be better off putting the money towards a remap.
