after 40,000 Km of my Superb TSI 2010 1.8 L, engine started to consume oil (no leaks). in 3000 Km i filled 1.5 liters of oil.

I was told that up to 0.5 liter per 1000 Km is normal. is it?

Yes, VW says that's normal, I say it isn't.
