Wet sanded with 1000, 2000 and 3000 in perpendicular strokes, polished with silverline red pad and Meguiar's UC and finished off with some turtlewax. Headlights are smooth to touch and gleaming.....but the lamps still have a yellow glow when lit. I upgraded to Osram Nightbreaker Plus H3, Philips Xtreme Vision H7 and Philips Bluevision W5W.

So is it the bulbs or do I need to sand another layer off the plastic?

They look pretty clear. I have osram night breakers and they're much whiter than that??

Might sound stupid, but try the black in the headlight mod, see if that makes a difference. Looks better to.

Drivers side - black insert. Passenger side normal.

Ignore the blue bulb, that's gone now.

TYVM. Sand, primer, paint and lacquer just like doing the interior trims or is there another way? Any special paint to resist heat from bulbs?

Just normal paint and laquer.
