massive thanks to pete8tch and jackie

Featured Replies

sorry if this is the wrong section.

i just wanted to say a huge thanks to pete for today, i have had a small issue with my car (only had it a few weeks)with a strange rubbing noise that i could not pinpoint, we think we found it but further work is needed.

we only met pete at the last northwest meet but he offered to take a look and the car so we went over to petes who took it for a drive to see for himself, he then in return took us out in his to see the difference between diesel and petrol, thank you everso much for that one (oh and JJ is really sorry if she gave it the beans a little too much lol).

pete then went even further to break out his REVO switch to check our cars setting only to find it had been turned off :'(

so once we find out the settings then it will be turned back on

its this kind of dedication to help others who you have only met the once that always make owners clubs special and this one seems no different.

and a special thanks to jackie for the brews and hospitality, oh and pete we really are sorry about the race you missed, it wont happen again sir.................grovel.....grovel......grovel.

however there is another major problem with owners clubs and thats the fact that you get to see modifications people have done and say oh i like that alot (hence why ebay is now open in another tab lol)so now its a set of whiteline ARBs and a short shift on my shopping list lol.

Yup, cannot agree more, you both made us feel really really welcome thank you so much!

I wasn't going to drive when Pete took us out in his but then thought... why not! It was ACE! :D

It felt so planted and the gear shifts so quick and smooth.

The North West really is lucky to have guys like you here :) hope to see you again soon

JJ

No chance , time you turn up its gonna be well dark

Speaking of which , need to switch the lights on mate

I could appear earlier, that may be possible :D

Yep, will sort that next time mate. Or before next meet if you prefer?

Also - did you get any polishing done?

Nope you want the stuff back dude , not had a dry day yet.

No rush mate, but I am keeping an eye out for a dry weekend day, hopefully before the end of the month - so I can re-do mine before autumn & winter :)

Why do i get the blame for everything :'( :giggle:

Pete is a top bloke and has helped me out on a fair few occasions. Especially the 3 days i was trying to find a REVO Phantom boost leak

He's not a bad bloke. :)
