I was wondering could someone point me in the right diirection in order to get the latest version of the firmware for the Columbas sat nav. Have a 2011 Superb combi. Is it difficult to install?

Head over to VWNavi, HERE . All the info is there. My upgrade was painless, once I had the right combination of CD and burner software.

How do I find out what version f/w maps I am using? Holding the SETUP button doesn't do anything.

If you can input the 7 digit post codes you have the latest FW, dont know about maps unless there are new roads near you that are also on the display

I got the latest maps installed last month but unfortunately the maps are poor. There is mororways here in Ireland, oddly enough, that dont appear despite been open for 18 months plus!! I had a TOM TOM and its maps are way ahead. I logged my complaint with the dealer but he is beating his head against a wall with SKODA HQ.
