i got a 2011 Octavia and looking to get the latest LED version

i belive the part number should be 3T0 035 680 C but this seller is advertising it as LED manufacture 2010 3T0 035 680 A

So is this unit LED? is the last letter of the part number the version? thanks for your help

A quick check in the parts listing shows that part number 3T0 035 680 A was fitted from 2.11.09 to 29.5.11.

The latest version is 3T0 035 680 D; hope this helps

To do the parts check you need the vw parts software EKTA 7.3,looking further into the version numbers if you google the part number it looks fairly easy io update the software on these units. eg.version A to D

The parts program only gives the dates the different versions of the unit are fitted and to which models.But an informed guess would say that it is the latest LED version.

they all have the same part number, are they all led? do others like LCD have same number?

Manufacture date is Jan 2011 so it must be a LED unit

didnt get a code card but the code is on a sticker on top of unit. How can i found out if the unit has been modifly as i cant update the software?

the code is 18*3 so it doesnt seem to be over written, what ways is there to check if i can update unit when new map etc comes out?
