A sad day, but my beloved MK5 Golf Gti is gone forever, but not before I removed the Zenec head unit. Grab yourself a bargain!. I paid close to a grand for this around 10 months ago, but no use to me now. I don't have the retail box or manuals, just the unit itself plus the remote controls it came with....and all the cables etc needed to fit into your VW. Here is the info from the Zenec website:

Software updates and the manuals are all available from the Zenec website. Happy bidding!

ZENEC‘s new top-of-the-line model fits together visually with all automobiles belonging to the GOLF V and GOLF VI lines – the VW Golf VI, Golf V, Tiguan, Eos, Passat, Passat CC, Jetta, Caddy, Touran, Scirocco – as well as with the SEAT models Altea, Leon and Toledo where a new OE trim bezel must be purchased separately for the install.

The Zenec will definitely fit - I believe that it is basically a carbon copy of the Columbus in terms of looks and dimensions but with more in terms of bluetooth etc. I was looking at one myself but then managed to get hold of a Columbus from a very decent chap! ;)

I think the only issue in terms of compatibility is that the lighting of the unit is white, not green. Not a massive issue!

ive brought a kenwood as the zenec is a lcd screen not a led. you get alot of glare off the lcd screens. although the kenwood was not cheap as you have to buy surounds and iso leads i feel the sound and screen will better

I believe that they also do one for the Skoda now and it can have green lighting, excellent unit, if i could afford it i would have one over the columbus and all other options. Here is a link to the Skoda unit http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-zenec-ze-mc5600-ze-na2000_p-25965.htm
