Anyone fitted footwell lights to a pre facelift ?

Featured Replies

Hi, I was wondering, if anyone has fitted footwell lights to a pre facelift octy. I nearly bought a new octy the other week and the car I test drove had them fitted. To be honest I didn't find it too differnet to my old car so I decided against buying one and thought I'd smoke my car around for a couple more years. But, I did like the footwell lights.

Thanks silver, I believe thats all about FL footwell lights as they already have the cutouts in the seats etc and the option in maxidot

Ah OK, I do remember a thread on here where the OP was talking about making cuts to the foam above the peddles to seat the footwell lights.

With cutting and shaping involved I just assumed it was a pre-FL.

I make looms for front footwell lights and rear footwell lights in the golf.

The octavia uses the same CECM controller as the golf so they can be retrofitted.

If you would post some pics of the footwell to see if there are cut outs for them

Hi Eddie, whereabouts would the drivers side footwell light be fitted ? Also I presume the rear footwell lights would be fitted to the underneath of the front seats, correct ?

Take a pics of your footwells

On the golf the passenger one is located on the edge of the glovebox

and on the drivers side on the trim with the obd port

you can fit them whereever you make the hole
