bolero file playing in shuffle

Featured Replies

hi is it possible to play music in shuffle mode between folders. i had an old stereo on my old car where you could have all you albums in individual folders i had twelve per card (only supported 1g cards) and could select shuffle on folder or shuffle on entire sd card. is it possible to fill up a 8g /16g card with albums in individual folders. i know you can select an individual folder & play that in shuffle. but what i would like to do is shuffle across the entire sd card ie. between folders in random so it would pick a track from one folder then pick another from a different a folder etc so i can listen to a vast range of musical tastes instead of 12/14 tracks from same artist.

I have been wondering about this too- figured it out today! Just make sure you have at least one track in the top level folder. Also make sure that in Media setup you have ticked the box to include subfolders for mix/play/scan. All you have to do is start with one track from the top level folder then press 'mix'. Hope this helps
