A guy from work is leaving and hes decided hes going to go into the teflon coating business. Hes done couple of the lads cars at work and they look superb and the dirt just slides off the paintwork and apparently its good for 5 years anyone got this done ?

I'd be interested to know what's in the coating.

Because I've seen something claiming to be Teflon car wax and it didn't have the same stuff in it that Teflon has.

It was just trading on the name.

Even a good clean and polish will help the dirt slide off as it seals the surface so much can't stick as well.

So I'd be interested to see any more info.

please forgive my naivity but would a teflon coat on a car likely be see through or will my car look like a tefal non-stick pan??
