Bolero - no AUX audio after active sub install

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

just wanted to run this one by you before i pull the head unit out again during the week.

Scenario,

picked up a 10" Fusion active sub tube at super$h!tauto the other day 35% off, couldnt resist.

Wired it up in the Occy Wags over the weekend.

Spliced into rear speakers straight off the back of the head unit to run the high level inputs into the amp.

Bolero and amp all working sweet with Radio, CD, SD, but NOT with AUX input.

checked with two ipods, and I'm just getting a trickle of audio out of the whole system when in AUX mode.

Tried with all three line input level settings, and still the same. (just changed the level of audio trickle and static!)

Im running a Nokia CK-7W handfree kit speaker audio into the headunit too, and thats working fine.

So its either an impedance matching problem with the amp effecting the line input which i find hard to believe, or perhaps a dodgy connection with the wiring loom plug which may need to be reseated which seems more probable.

Has anyone else come across this before?

Any other ideas for me to check before I pull the head unit out again?

thanks

Drew
