Changing alternator, easy?

Hi all

Well after the debacle with my cut outs, check battery with car running and showing 12v so confirms alternator is bust.

Replacing wise, I'm fairly novice... Is it a big job? If so I'll put it in the garage.

mechanically its not hard, BUT its fiddly due to access...or lack of!
