Does anyone know what the gearbox code is for 5 speed 4x4 arx please.

I thought the 5 speed was 02a and the 6 speed o2m?

The gearbox normally attached to an ARX coded engine is of the O2J series.

Not sure what the exact gearbox code is though

The type is 02J which later turned to an 02R I think.

02A is the older version as fitted to MK3 Golfs, Corrados etc
