No its true it had been sitin at skoda history says it was ony ever registered by skoda it was used as a just in case stand by car and they decided to sell it i was in the right place at the right time and i love it drives like a dream cant get over the power it has any how can you advise on the mpg issue or not an issue thanks

MPG will get better as the miles rise, mine took 10Kish to settle down.

If you have the use manual then a good read of the Trip Computer functions tell you how to use the various functions but be aware that the Trip Computer MPG will always show a 5-10% higher mpg than a proper brim to brim manual reading.

Also this time of year you will get a good 10% less mpg because of the cold weather.

Every so often it is a good idea to reset the Trip 1 and 2 readings so you get a full set of up to date figures.

Just wondering if you have inadvertantly changed view from trip1 to trip2 or vice versa because, on such a low mileage car, I think there could be a big difference between the two.

That's what I was thinking.

Or maybe it was always on trip 2 and it reset itself as it does that after a set time.

It's worth either reseting 'trip 2' everytime you fill up or calculating mpg manually.

That way you can keep a track of any sudden changes in economy which could hint at a problem.
