Ordered Greenline SE today

Featured Replies

So its ordered. I went with Autoebid in the end. They have been really professional and always called me back when they said they would etc. The dealer is about 90 mins drive away.

They have a superb coming into stock that matches my order. It will be here in 3 weeks if i want a 61 plate or I can wait till 1st March for a 12 plate.

Would it be wise to find out the build date ?

Have there been any changes I should be aware of?

Any other advice i could get at this stage of the process would be great.

Thanks.

I would find out the build date, even though as far as I'm aware, there haven't been any major changes recently

For a fresh factory order you could be looking at June next year based on current lead times, many have found build weeks pushed back as they are not confirmed until 2 weeks before the car is due to be built. Up to 2 weeks before is purely an estimated date and very much subject to change in either direction.

Does this not affect the current VAT/service/Finance offers as they have to be registered by March 2012 latest?

Not sure, I believe that last time they were honoured past their original end date.

I don't think there have been any major updates and if there has then they won't be that drastic - so you could be having it very soon then! Good news.

Congratulations on ordering a Greenline SE. I'll be interested in comparing your mpg figures with those of my own Greenline.

Build date was 13th December 2011 so week 51. Its currentley in Germany. They have requested delivery for 1st March 2012. The free servicing offer is based on you collecting the car within 10 days of it arriving at the dealers.

I also record fuel data on spiritmonitor.de, which I prefer, as there are far more Skoda Superb's for comparison against, than on fuelly.com.

Well I have just checked 'track my skoda' and the superb has arrived at the dealership.

I'm assuming the offer rule ' must be registered within 10 days of arrival at dealership' will be bent to fit in with a 3rd March handover. May be I should avoid answering the phone when they call. :giggle:
