Evening all,

I'm looking to get my Fabia '51 1.9tdi remapped. I'm sure this question has been asked many a time but I could come up with much on the search function, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, basically just looking for all the helpful hints, advice, do's and don'ts etc that come with this.

Also in the same boat, from research iv done id stay away from Revo maps as they seem quite harsh?

Shark performance are highly reccomended and quite local to you I think,

My question is, Unit 18, has anyone experienced one of there maps?

Theres a few with unit 18 maps, another great tuner, like shark. I think xaosx has all the work on his car done at unit18. Next year ive got a day at silverstone so i think ill make a trip to them and get mine done (unless theres any group buys in the meantime )

Unit 18 (alistair) build my car from start to finish, cant fault them at all, 100% spot on. Knowledgeable, honest & top value. You do have to remember its a small outfit, so bear that in mind when messaging for quotes and stuff, he is very busy, but give him a ring if your after a quick reply.

As for maps specificity, they mapped my standard vRS I asked for a smooth map since it was on 125k and standard clutch. Needless to say it was spot on, smooth and progressive. I now run a hybrid 150 and another map from there, again, spot on, very little smoke, almost petrol like power curve, just as I asked. Well worth the drive down since your not too far away.
