Looking at the touareg mirror change and wondered if the glass mirror bit itself just pops off at the ball & socket joint or whether it'll break if I yank too hard? If I have to change the entire unit stuck to the windscreen, I can't be bothered!

Pretty sure you have to twist the mirror 90 degrees either way to remove

Hmmm, think i'd need something a bit more positive than 'pretty sure' to get me to do that i'm afraid. :S
