Entering code for Fabia Radio?

Hello all, my dad has a 2003 Fabia Elegance and the radio needs the code entering, now apparently my dad has a (4 digit) code but when he enters it it it doesn't unlock the radio.

Do you have any suggestions? Apologies for the lack of detail in my post.
