Anyone have any experience with Usb/SD Card adaptors for OEM headunits?

Featured Replies

Hello guys and girls,

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with using a USB/SD adaptor in conjunction with the OEM Headunits, like the following:

I previously had a usb/sd headunit in my MkI VRS, however it has gone a bit bonkers of late and i have had to revert back to the OEM Symphony unit. I've had a look around for a replacement headunits that will match the "Black on Green" lighting setup and has USB/SD, however the closest match i can find is going to set me back about £100.

Ideally i would like to keep the headunit as OE as possible, however USB/SD playback is a must have for me, as i dont really have much of my music on CD these days.

As such, i was wondering if anyone had any opinions or experience with devices such as the above, as a means of keeping the OE look, whilst adding USB/SD functionality.

Cheers
